: Subseal Benefits

Who Needs Us?

New legislation in Equine Land Law states that all new stables that are built must be waterproofed to prevent efluent from horses entering the Water Table.

Garage or workshop floors, damp walls, driveways, petrol station forecourts, kennels, walkways, patios, factories, swimming pools, farm yards and many more.

The Solution

With a 20 year guarantee Subseal is the only real answer to damp problems in buildings and waterproofing of floors.

A chemical reaction within the pores of the material solidifies all the component parts into one solid, non-porous layer.

Why Subseal?

All foreign matter is cancerous to concrete and masonry. Acids, alkalis, oils and other foreign liquids can cause huge long term damage. These cancerous substances embed themselves within the concrete and cause crumbling, cracking, and dusting. Even water present within concrete increases the oxidisation process reducing concretes structural strength. An application of Subseal will lock out these contaminants.

Permanently Waterproofed

Subseal is a colorless, penetrating liquid that waterproofs and preserves concrete. Subseal causes a chemical reaction in masonry which creates a protective barrier. Subseal is not a surface coating and will in no way hinder the physical properties of the present structure. It performs its service within the pores of the masonry itself and need only be applied once.

Summary Test Report

Water Absorption:
Concrete test samples treated with Subseal absorbed up to 85% less water by weight than concrete test samples not treated.

Freeze-Thaw Resistance:
Imparts an improved resistance to the freeze-thaw damage under these test conditions.

Efflorescence:
Resistance to efflorescence is significantly improved.

Resistance to Salt Attack:
The treatment of the concrete imparts resistance to salt attack under freeze-thaw conditions in the presence of moisture.

Stain Resistance:
Treated concrete is noticeably more resistant to staining and is easier cleaned than untreated concrete.

Dusting Resistance:
Concrete treated appears to be about twice as resistant to dusting as the untreated concrete.
